The interview was about the re-election of Dr. Ransome-Kuti as the President of the Nigerian Medical Association after he had served for ten years.
Interviewer: you must be a very good medical fellow to be re-elected for another five years, congratulations.
Dr. Kuti: Thank you.
Interviewer: What do you say about the smoking of Amugbo (Indian Hemp)?
Dr. Kuti: Hum, I tell you that all over the world there hasn't been any scientific prove that Indian hemp harms the body. Lemme tell you that my own brother Fela, smokes Indian hemp more than any body else in Nigeria. Yet, he is more sane than any living former Nigerian Head of State.
BOTTOMLINE: At the time of the interview, Segun Obasanjo was the only living former Nigerian Head of State which meant that Fela, the wee smoker, was more sane than Obasanjo.
CONCLUSION: Kwaadee is more sane than many of our present day musicians. Check the songs of Kwadee against others and find out whose is more sane and sensible.
