This man should be made one of those 'developmental' Kings in Ghana for his contribution to our recording arts alone. Without Bodo, We probably wouldn't have Abrantie Amakye Dede(who surprisingly wasn't recognized in this article too and have probably worked with him than most Ghanaians). I got into music production because of my love of Highlife Music and most of the late 80's to mid 90's highlife was touched at some point by this man.

We must not only recognized our country folk when it comes to matters as such and should just simply call a spade a spade.

Hammer, no disrepect bro, cannot hold two chords together to save his life.
Bogo Staiger HELPED kept our music going when we, ourselves were on the verge of giving up on it.

All Ghanaians have enjoyed his works one way or the other.He should be recognized.Unfortunately charter house knows nothing about real music.

The man Bodo Staiger really deserved to be honoured. I sometimes don't understand what's the criteria for selecting sound engineers in ghana. Bodo must be honoured.

The guy had never lived in Ghana but his work is very super.I have been following for so many years.When you love music you listen to all aspect of the music.He has done a lot.

It is obviouse that the writer of this article is very ignorant. Infact Ghanaian musicians has contributed a lot to make this guy who he thinks he is. Can he show us how many awards he has received in Germany from his own people? Ghanaian musicians have helped him to pay his bills for sometime ,so,he should rather appreciate what LUMBA and the others have done for him. What is sad is there are always some selfish and sell out Ghanaians who will do anything to please anybody just to get favor from the person. These Jimcrows are shameless and ignorant.
HAS GHANA HONERED our own engineers like Kwaakye,Bossman etc ? BRODO OR BODO STAIGER SHOULD SAY A BIG THANK YOU to GHANAIAN AND AFRICAN MUSICIANS FOR MAKING HIM WHAT HE IS.
