Gifty is a good presenter and of course she has contributed her quota to our national development. But i kept wondering why Gifty was an employee of GTV, yet, she has her personal program (Stand Point), where the money she makes goes into her personal coffers. Trust me, it's not done anywhere in the world. As an employee, you have a duty and a responsibility to enrich the program content of the station you work for. If you have any idea u share with your programs manager, and then together you can bring such program on air. But you don't capitalize on the platform the station has given you, which of course has enhanced your image to your own benefit. If you think you want to have your own show, the best thing is to resign. This will never happen at TV3, Metro and the rest..Im sure some people at the top were getting their share of the "Booty." Please i beg oh, no one should read politics into this. I'm talking strictly from a professional point of view. Think about this; if all the employees of GTV should come out with their own program, and all they have to do is buy airtime; guess what will happen. Half of the sponsors money will go into their pocket and the half will go to the station, and at the end of every month they will collect their salary on top. They will also deny the company of their input in terms of creativity and professional knowledge. "Hmm, nsem pii."

It's better to leave that corporation filled with NDC "PHDs" before the kill you. I hope others who really want to progress in life and want to protect their fame and dignity would do same. When the NDC uses the media to destroy their political opponents or people they perceive to be enemies (those on the other side of the divide) they'll fabricate stories to hurt them. Gifty Anti has been such victim because for the NDC's she has close ties with ex-Prez. Kuffour and NPP. Meanwhile they're using Radio Gold, The "mis-Informer" Alhaj-Alhaj and others to denigrate Nana Akufo-Addo, Dr. Bawumia and others.

When Kuffour's elder son approached a private bank for loans to do business, the NDC esp. Rawlings called the Prez. all sorts of names. That private Hotel was nicknamed "Hotel Waa waa" as if it was a crime for any relative of a sitting president to enter into business. Now John Mahama's brother has Merchant Bank buried deep into debt and they don't even want anyone to mention or talk about it.

I think Ms. Gifty Anti has made a good decision; she'll be missed by many but her move is in the right direction. It's a good move because at least, she'll have her peace of mind. Plus, there are lots of great opportunities out there or elsewhere. She'll have her peace of mind when she's away from this "Sasabonsam" TV trap. I wish her all the best and God's protection.
