What he does to politicians is about five times of what you do but no one castigates him because he is always neutral. You have chosen to be one-sided so face the consequences. I will advice you to stick to your satiric songs and be neutral just like you did for the song, "our money", because you may not survive in the recent azonto trends.

Why did u not do this type of song when NPP was in power? Were they perfect? We shd show respect in whatever we do. Be polite. "Scent no oo agye babia" was okay. Cos it was a general comment. Didn't Barima's Managers advise him on how noble satirist are; yet the huge risks they face, especially in being a political satirist?

Satirists are philosophers, conscience of the masses and voices of the voiceless. Notably, they through songs, writings, plays and jokes say what others in society fear to say and, in the process step on the feet of the powerful and, at times, the wicked. In return, the satirist receive the worst for reward. This is the situation Barima seems to find himself now.

At this stage it is either that he cowardly stops the satires or stay on and be counted among the brave heroes of his time who stood against the evils society feared to talk about and confront. Bob Marley and Lucky Dube readily comes to mind, here.

Money is not a consideration for such philosophers. So if Barima is looking for monetary rewards, in Ghana's bi-polar NPP vrs NDC world, then he either concentrate in satirizing policies of whichever party is in government, rather than just the NDC. His compatriot, A-Plus, does it better.

But, somebody remind me: Is it not same Barima who in NPP time released that highly critical, "African Money"?

My advice to you is that; He who fight and run away live to fight another day. Do this for those who don't have the voice or whose voices may not be heard. Good job man, bravo with your preaching. You are Ghanaians Bob Marley. Bob's songs were about injustice to humanity. He's dead but his songs are still the best
