  I know most people wouldn't like this story because truth hurts. This writer isn't against Kumawood movies but looking forward to a better work done by Kumawood.
  
  For me as somebody who's known the difference between working with some Nollywood, Ghallywood and Kumawood actors and actresses just a few year's back, my heart gets broken seeing all these sort of nonsense being packaged as movies for sale.
  
  Most Kumawood guys don't follow script because they can't read or write. They are told the story, asked to fool around it, but because they find it hard to repeat what they say for other shots to taken, producers of such movies use 3 cameras at a time to help get some very needed shots and cut on cost. A good film needs at least 3 different range of shots per scene to give a good blend after editing. The finished work of most of these so called movies are very horrible.
  
  There was a case where somebody who hasn't been to any film school directed a job Tom Riberio started because he's followed the director for a while and so he thought he's good enough to do it. He undermined Tom, took over as a director, putting rush on the whole production because Bob Santo of blessed memory was part of it and he's has few days to travel abroad. He directed series of trash messed the whole production up. The executive producer, hoped Santo will be back for him to do a retake, unfortunately Santo came back very sick and died few days later.
  
  We have to come to terms with these things, that Kumawood movies are horrible. They need to be bettered by using qualified script writers, technical crew plus a good editing bench etc etc. If we take a look back and consider a film like "I told you so" which was produced in the 60's and compare it with what we see these days, we have every just cause to ask whether we're improving or deteriorating? The differences are written on the wall for all to see. How come most of their movie shots are long takes, taking several minutes before cut? Isn't it boring sitting and watching them bitch about almost nothing? Come on people, we need to grow in every sphere of life.

  Hardly do we consider how these personality trails are achieved or acquired. At least, the entry level requirements must be enhanced.
  The thought of a little education could have made the industry more palatable than it is now.(The Kumawood
  takes the blame on this score).
  
  Assuming you have all the characteristics mentioned elsewhere in the piece together, the making of the film alone (Film making) is an expensive proposition. The essence why you have the differences in the early movies and that of today.
  
  Considering our economic situation and the need to have our hand visit the mouth at all cost, some of us would do anything and everything necessary to survive.
  
  Otherwise, AkrOb3to, AgyaKoo, Kwadwo Nkansa, Kwaku Manu, Kyeiwaa and dem-dem couldn't have been actors and actresses in that order.
  In effect, they are jokers, comedians and instrument carriers who should physically present themselves to the people on stage and
  evolve hilarious way to stubbornly, and 'surgically' crack the ribs of the audience like it was years back. They have no business doing video and calling it a movie.
  
  In the mean time, the name icon that describes the industry styled 'Ghallywood and Kumawood' respectively tells how uneducated, OOPS! how misinformed the bunch of the industry persons are.
  
  Did we copy blindly?
  Shame on the mess!!
