You're absolute correct!
You can still enjoy a good song even (and especially) if you know all the words and how it will end. It is hard to enjoy even a good joke when you know it and how it ends.
comedians are more creative than musicians, comedians have to create and design about hundred jokes and most of the time its not impressive, a musician on the other hand can tour the whole country with a single hit.
