I have dread locks, at first my mother was a bit hesitant, but later she became more acceptable, and my family and friends are okay with me having dreads. I am old now and I enjoy having the dreads on my hair, I have tried all kinds of hairstyle, and I don't know if I will keep it forever. I keep it neat, wash it and go to the hairdresser often to treat it, as it is part of my hair. I don't see anything wrong with dreads

I started growing locks in 1999 for convenience sake. At the time a full time student and working, I had no time to go sit at the hair salon for hours to have my hair coiffed. Dreadlocks were so much easy to handle hence my choice.
I had them cut 5 years later only to grow them back. For me it's either a short crop or dreads. I prefer my own God given hair,neither chemically treated hair nor some one else's ....

Dread locks to me symbolises confusion. All those who have dreadlocks tell me, when you take a look at your life can't it be summed up in one word, i.e. CONFUSION. I'm waiting for the insults.

dread lock people are not confused, they know what they want. If you have dreads it doesn't mean you are confused aba be positive

Dreadlocks are for bush "efuom" dirty people.

Just look at the two guys in this picture, and you'll know what I mean.

Forget about their money. Just take a good look at them, very bushlike!!!
