She was a student of Yale School of Drama. Having graduated from there, she worked in the Music and Performance industry directing music videos.

I guess one can say that she has some experience under her belt.

Of course you are entitled to your own opinion and if you think she is not beautiful, that is entirely up to you. The first question to ask yourself is how is the winner of a beauty pageant selected. Secondly,what are the factors used to classify a person to as beautiful. When you finish your research you will gain some knowledge to educate other ignorant people like you and might understand where I am coming from. To set the fact straight and to help you not to confuse yourself, I definitely know she is an actress and has not been a contestant in a beauty contest.

This is an example of why many say we live in a white world. The standard of beauty is measured in the eyes of whiteness. If the white men says black is beautiful we accept ourselves the way we are. If he says it is ugly every darkie wants to bleach their skin, weave their hair or wear a wig. We literally want to run away from ourselves. The message here is that love yourself and others will love you.

Chinese share the same facial features with most African but never waste time as Africans to be praised by whites simply because they believe in themselves.

You know, there is this saying that "there is beauty in education). That is what Lupita is... she is a YALE UNIVERSITY GRADUATE....and that is big. She well educated actress and that's what made her who she is today. She did not force herself to be in Hollywood like some of Ghanaian and African actresses trying to do.
