No, no, no, don't quit yet! Just change your business mode! Now, instead of selling your 'intellectual song write', just go into agreement that whenever the song makes a hit you have a certain percentage over it. So in future you always make some money on the songs you write. Some people are good writers and others can sing better. Don't quit yet! Get a good legal practioner and business developer to help!
