Then Amakie pressured Fennec to hurry and complete his house (which was under construction at that time), so they could move there. Fennec, madly in love, obliged. When they got to the new house, Amankie requested that they (man and wife) sleep in separate rooms. Her reason…”Fennec has an unpleasant body odor” Fennec stood his ground and insisted on sleeping in the same bed with his wife. Amakie moved out to stay with her father. The two families attempted to resolve the issue, but Amakie stated categorically, “Fennec is not my type”. She took off her wedding ring and started dating other men. Fennec’s father and Ursula tried in vain to convince him to cut his loses and move on, but the man was love-sick and deaf to reason. Amakie remained in her father’s abode. She only went to Fennec’s house for money once a month and would not even take a seat. She would take 1500.00 Ghana Cedis, and then walk out. Fennec begged her to return. Among her conditions for returning; Fennec should kick his house help, friends and watchman out, which Fennec did. That is why Fennec was alone at home when the murderers got to his house. When Fennec’s body lay still in a pool of blood, Amakie showed up uninterested and would not stop browsing on her smart phone. Let’s face it.
Amakie never loved Fennec. She was after money. – This is my inside scoop from sources close to Fennec’s family. LET HIM REST IN PEACE.
