The other day, a sitting president had relinquished his position in favour of a deity in a full promise of "Jesus is the president of Ghana galore"

A president had made series of miscalculated attempts to ferry a planeload of diverse pastors to solidify his seat of government as the election got limbo-ed.

Probably, knowing Ghana had become so vulnerable and gullible he saw the move as a way to religiously move the slogan, "The Better Ghana Economic Agenda" in a spiritual connotations that most of us had no way seeing it come.

A celebrated pastor could stop a government stimulatory order on soccer and boxing at random all in the name of religion.

Here we are with soccer as our number passion and love. Somebody wants to remind us of the sheepish superstition we have fallen for.

Most Ghanaians despite their rich education are still superstitious about everything. They want to win even football matches, not by selecting good players and giving them the best of training, but by what is generally referred to as "ways and means". With this, a high demand for spiritualists (malams, fetish priests and prophets) has been generated. Thus the fake prophet Ezekiel has come in handy to meet the demand - ie a false prophet for ignorant people. This is a mockery of the reality of God.
Why would God of the universe be busy about Ghana's qualifications to the world cup through the instrument of some prophet who must be paid $60,000 for what He God has done? This is very easy for anyone who can add one to one superstition has deformed our thinking.
In a serious country, the prophet and the official who solicited his services on behalf of the Black Stars would have been questioned and punished.

Is that what they are to do? Are they not leaving their role of speaking against evil in society to predicting the future? In the case above, I want to ask the prophet in question whether he used God's power to help the Black star qualify or his own power? He is quoting $60000, is this from God? Does he think God would be happy if spiritual gifts are sold?... For me I dont think a true prophet would be giving threats from God because he has not been given $60000. God is above that amount of money. If it is true that the GFA consulted him I'll recommend they should have a peaceful discussion on the issue.
