It sounds interesting. I've always admired women who are brave to show off their natural hair. Make a detail programme of the event available. It does not help one bit for you to state the date and time without a programme. A detail programme of what is happening at what time and by who is a must. It will present those calling the shots as an organised and serious body and enable interested participants to schedule their time and themselves to be there. AND STICK TO TIME.I wish them success

I am so happy to see that somebody, like you guys are taking this initiative to educate the nation on ladies keeping their real hair. Everything other than natural hair and dreads, is an imitation of "White Women." It started in America, where black women were made to feel inferior about themselves and in doing so started to straighten-up their hair. As Black people, our hair does not grow straight like those of white people. All the chemicals used just to make out hair straight is not even meant for human use. Long-straight weaves, wigs, and also bleaching is all imitations of being white and self-hating our blackness. Black people, please lets embrace our blackness--the rest of the world knows of our great history but us.

Not even the president knows the physical address of his office the Flag staff house. What a shame for a country that prides herself with so-called educated ppl.

Thank you very much for organizing this event. I hope the whole African continent will learn to keep and be proud of their natural hair.
Our counterparts in Europe and other parts of the world think that our women relax (perm) their hair because of inferiority complex.
If our women, and of course some of the men, will learn to keep their natural hair beautifully, stop bleaching, and also our media houses and movie industries will stop promoting light skin and straight hair as beauty, I believe the rest of the world will begin to respect the black people more.
God Bless the Black People
