You are far off the mark if you think I don't admire you for trying to put yourself in the best of shape, healthwise.
If only you knew how 'nutty' I am about fitness!
Despite me be a Ghanaian, I would have told you exactly the same thing that your friend told you about keeping in shape.
My time in the military instilled in me a lot of things but the most important two are :

*The power and the necessity of fitness which translate into good health and self confidence.
* Telling the truth and accepting the truth no matter what.

You seem to think that I'm 'ticked' because you spoke the truth. No... I was disappointed that you had to use a different pseudonym to be able to speak your mind on something you thought I was in favour of, but you were not. You didn't have to do that. We are not going to agree on everything or every issue that can crop up. Divergent views on issues help bring into sharp focus possible solutions to those issues.
Both you and I are well educated enough to know that, and my admiration for you is more about your brain power than any other eye-pleasing physical attributes you may or may not possess.
So I kinda felt 'let down' that you felt you had to 'hide' behind another pseudonym to say something that was counter to my take on the issue.
Say what's on your mind even if it goes against the grain, as long as you believe in it and you're not doing it or saying it to spite someone. That's what the military taught me.

So I guess what I'm trying to say is that I respect your opinion, so let me hear it even if we are not on the same page on any issue. You don't have to borrow from any literature to hide and tell me. We are real. You and I. That's real life... not a "Tyler Perry/Madea tranformation".

Like all humans, I'm not perfect and I like to learn so I keep on learning.... and being exposed to different views and opinions is part of my learning process. "Education has no end"... a favourite teacher of mine told me way back in my very young formative years and it stuck with me.

" And heck yes im bothered but i will just go shopping and i will be fine(was taming my shopaholic tendencies but you just aroused that). And I will miss you, my brainy one..love you in a weird lovely way, not that kind of love you freak, the other one which is still good. That paragraph tore me up and made me feel like a worm, responsible for pushing you back into a "shopaholic frenzy"
So I will once again apologize if I caused you that much strife. Like I said, that wasn't the intent.

One question for you , though, is how are we going to realize our dream of building a hospital or clinic back home if you are going to go on this shopping binge and waste all that money you have saved so far?...lol
