Sometimes I just cannot get around the hypocrisy and unprincipled positions that seems to be accepted norms in Ghana. Why would we accept the destruction of authentic Ghanaian music by the new rap fad, accept the gangster wannabe culture in the music and movie industry, the ghettofication of women artists as ultimate bad ass performers and then turn around to debate the appropriateness of a dress that is a mainstay in civilized western societies? Where did we get our rap concepts and or the tramp lifestyles of our artists and chasing of names in lights with the silly names of our artists? Yet we are supposed to cowardly and back stab an artist because she dared to out gun others.
