  I find that perfume shops has some much aromas in the air it can also mess with your sense of smell.

  I find that perfume shops has some much aromas in the air it can also mess with your sense of smell.
  
  So I spray a bit on my wrist (like suggested), walk out of the shop, go about my business for about an hour then smell my wrist again. If I like it its a keeper.
  
  Other option to smelling gorgeous is a quality body mist. I prefer the vanilla body mist from the body shop.
