But there are more going on which is forcing our people to be uncultured. For instance my sister, who like me is beauty challenged has been working as a teacher without salary for past 16 months. ..And when there was light at the end of the tunnel, she and others were promised only 3 months salary,and for the rest, they should simply forget it. She lamented " my big sis Tatale, how can I pay my bills, debts etc". Even now in hollywood, you can see most are trying to be decent on the red carpet and all. Ghana is a poor country, but one of the few rich stuff we have is our culture, which is now being thrown out. One can dress to look sexy and not slutty, but still turn heads in showbiz. I do not think people would have gone off on her if she had not given certain reasons including her father's blood playing a role in her dressing, and her forgetting she is in Ghana, you know that just did not make sense. She could have ended at this is showbiz and you gotta do what you gotta do to butter your bread not all that nonsense. Funny enough, i did not think that dress was bad tho, i guess there may be other reasons like people just do not like her for past deeds or whatever. I hope we do not totally lose our rich culture through our quest at trying to be westernized.
