Is it the new trend that Pastors and their families have to use the Media to publicize the marriage of their children and theirs?

The Media publication of such news often portrays a certain ostentation and pomp around the event. Why is the Pastor's child's marriage any more deserving of such publicity than that of members of the Congregations? We have seldom seen the normal marriage ceremonies of Church members given such publicity by the Church or its Clergy.

I always ask people why are Christian marriages ending up in divorce more than islamic marriages,after we dumped our traditional way and marriage and took the white man way of marriage we should expect more divorces in Christ ...
