All,any powerful and rich tribes always get envied by their former slaves and captives.Ashantes are well known around the world,American singer Ashante was named by her parents after Ashanti tribe,which I never knew till I read an American magazine through an interview they granted,this shows how great we Ashantes are,bill Clinton spoke an Ashante language when he came to Ghana in 1998,though the president at that time was half acclaimed ewe(though he is half Togolese, half Scottish) at kotoka airport the welcome language is Akwaaba,long live Ashanti kingdom.

This is a job well done. Let's keep it up and educate the public about the health benefits of of a clean environment. Schools must also educate our children of their civic responsibilities with emphasis on better sanitation practices. Discourage people from littering the streets with plastic bags, paper leaves etc. Every landlord must ensure that the street and gutter in front of their building is cleaned on a daily basis else they should be ticketed by the District Council Sanitation Officers. Let's work together to restore Kumasi as the Garden City of West Africa and make Ghana a clean country.
