In any case I think u should spend time and understand why the kumawood movies are acted that way. What they do is to portray what goes on in the villages, such as witchcraft, juju, quarelling on petty issues among others. and off course creating commedies. So dont conclude that they dont teach society andthing relative to that of the accra movies.

Education from life experiences is more valuable and meaningful than sitting in a classroom and regurgitate back unproductive information. Movies and acting are all about story telling. Therefore, one does not have to read a script in order to act. Directors simply have to describe a scene and the good actor simply does his/her own thing. This is how SUPER OD became "SUPER."

Any good actor does not have to be given a script, or read a script. Acting on instinct is what separates very good actors from FAKE ones like the mimicry of American Ghetto expressions and behavior that pass for movies in the so-called Ghallywood.

In Hollywood for example, the good actors are told to improvise, once a scenario is created.

When rapper 50 Cent promised to donate $750,000 to charity if Mayweather could read a page of a Harry Potter book.

Mayweather responded thus: He tweeted pictures of his last two pay cheques of more than $70m, to remind 50 Cent how rich he was.
And he said: “I'd be perfect at reading if it was how I had to feed my family.”
The Twi movies are more successful because they tell a story and relate perfectly to Ghanaian situations. And situation comedies make the best story telling.
The so-called Ghallywood monies however, copy American situations, American Soap Operas, and sometimes from movies and comedy already shown on urban channels like BET. That explains why the Twi movies are so successful compared to the so=called Ghallywood movies which are fake copycats of American expressions.
Wine all you wish, but Twi movies rule the roost!!
Oh, by the way, the correct expression is “per se,” NOT “per say” as written in the report. Which goes to show how limited and mis-educated the so-called English speakers tend to be.

He was asked about his experience between kumawood and ghallywood and he harmless unlike Ekow Asante, said most of kumawood actors can't read the script but they used the scenerio to do their own wordings which worth acting(means they are good at what they do) to the point that he himself can't even act with the scenerio but got to have the script. So actually he has been impressed with those people like Kyeiwaa who can't read but yet act to fit the movie how the director of the movie wants. We need to read and get the concept and the mind set of a person before judging that particular person not just the heading. What he actually meant was, it's amazing how some kumawood actors can't read but yet act to meet the movie criteria with just the scene.

People who follow scrips are not talented, they are like a programmed robot or computer. You need to be able to add your own personality to the scene. These guys in Accra movies want to show 'elitism and class'by pretending to portray, act and copy western movies, which doesn't reflect our culture or the daily activities in Ghana. I mean it doesn't tell our story. They fake their ascents, portray gun culture, showing nude scenes as well as showing the negativity of same sex act...which is totally bullshit. I will recommend them to rather act raw and speak like Ghanaians do and produce better films to watch, rather than lambasting those in Kumasi. This is LOW... I will always wake up Saturday mornings to catch a glimpse of KUMAWOOD movies on ABN Channel in UK & Ireland times. Even my kids who don't know or were not born in Ghana but are Ghanaians fight to have a seat to watch KUMAWOOD movies...I think they tell the African story...which is great.
