First and foremost I was refering to de son, not de father. And yes, Bruno Mars in his song "GRANADE" was pulling a piano in the street, that clip is how old 3 or 4 years. The young man copied the same stunt in his song "I LOVE YOU" only dat it was on a rainy night. The way of depicting de labour of love was copied from Bruno Mars. You will only dispute this if u are dumb. Who looks lame now my dear? Any way, I remember akwaboa, Princess Acht, Amarh Apino etc from marriot international band so wat are u blabbing abt?

Is the name Kwabena Akwaboa or Kwadwo Akwaboah? I remember a song by one Kwabena Akwaboah called "Ade Akye Abia" which I think was recorded in the early 1970s.

'Maestro",the real legend and the grandfather,who started out as the lead vocalist of the K Gyasi`s Band,even before the 'Noble Kings' came into existence with the likes of the late Thomas Frimpong,Horny,Annorwuo,Paa Joe,etc.
The original Kwabena Akwaboah, was a talented crowd pleaser and a favourite of the women patrons of the Atomic Paradise Nite Club in Krofrom.
He band was among a handful which made a successful crossover from the purely "Guitar Band" genre into the Soul era,with his own rendition of Otis Reading`s famous 'Walking the Dog',which he sang entirely in Twi![Kraman Nantie]. NB. The late 'One-Man Thousand',Alex Konadu was one of his proteges.

This son is like the father, and the sensantional late granda, Maestro "Mmaakanfuo" Elvis Kwabena Akwaboah of Atomic Nite Club fame.
I saw Kwadwo Akwaboah perform live some two decades ago,and did not notice the resemblance this guy had to his 'oldman'. But,I just checked Kwabena Snr.`s hit Evergreen CD,and trust me, the resemblance is unmistakable! Obviously,this amazing musical talent runs in the family.
