the good thing with the uk is, we can always ask public officers to account for each penny of tax payer's money they earn doing their job. through freedom of information request, we can easily ask if police officers in fact visited the hotel room of a musician to just say hello and pledge their admiration, whilst on paid lunch hour time. we could also just check with the stations the officers were detailed from if such social calls were in line with beating crime. mind you wembley hilton is not your idea of hilton glamourised in movies. its low cost sandwiched betwwen a retail park, office buildings, construction sites, wembley park tube station, Lidl, and local college. patrons would usually be football fans, construction workers and pretenders who would like to boast that they have had a stay at a hilton hotel. uk police are generally nice and would not hesitate to stop and take photos with admirers, and answer questions; but not banter unofficially unless promoting community cohesion, as radio recordings always on. you would expect spin from politicians in Ghana, ,nott from artistes.
