OUR COMMENT: Rather entertaining! The Fetish Priest has a point.

But at base, there is a power struggle, some for control of resources (MONEY)!

POLICY IMPLICATION: As a traditional Ghanaian/African cultural trait/religion, the fetish priest system, as it is being supplanted by alien religions, is still relevant.

We believe no sane people (Christian/Muslim) will travel to Ghana worship. But they will come to Ghana to see the Fetish Priest, among other "attractions", if we take time to develop that cultural component (of the tourism and entertainment) to support economic development.

In fact, it is a good way to get back some of that large sums of Ghanaian incomes that annually go to support oil-rich Saudi Arabia, the Vatican, etc. In that spirit, we can see development of Schools where Fetish Priests are trained, "African Personality" style!

She was right on the point. How can we act without doing a research to know and understand the character and role of something we want act. The traditional religion is no evil. The alien religions are more evil than the traditional one. But miseducation has blinded us all to always portray it in a very despicable manner. It's a shame really because our oppressor didn't only tell us our religion is bad and weak but our humanity as well so we must as well portray that in our movies and in everyday discourse. It's time to learn and question. We are too vulnerable and gullible!

I will not say much than to tell any one reading that Christianity, Judaism, and all the other religions are carbon copies of our African spirituality. You call it evil because it kills lol. What did you expect Haiti to do when the French army wanted to put them to slave. They turned our spirituality into a war revolution to stop slavery. We are in the 21century and we are in another revolution. Why don't you go same with your spirituality. Even your Bible said we are in the aquarium age.. But to you the Christian you feel the truth has been presented to you The Bible. One God more than 33 different versions. You call Roman Catholic idol worshipers yet your bibles talk about Jesus, you believe in the King James without knowing it's roots worse of you talk algorical statements in the Bible for word to word. And it doesn't match with our history where God but us. And until we start worshiping and respecting the woman you do not know God.... I believe in God and I'm God having a human experience. Stop following the media and go back home better still travel to all these places and see for yourself. When your faith doesn't meet with your history remember there is a problem.
