I have heard this cliché on countless occasions, and I have observed it coming from some Ghanaians with the most seared of conscience to the point of being obscene, and it has never ceased to amaze me, what drives such people to such depths, what fuels and influences such thought processes in the face of such glaring and jarring evidence of destruction, and on countless number of occasions, I am brought to the stark realization that, it is their make up, it is palpably some other factors that drives such thoughts, which is selfish, which is unpatriotic, which is reckless and conscienceless and nothing would change such thoughts because it is just who they are, the thoughts are influenced not by fellow feeling for man, but based on fear, fear of the unknown, fear of the past which fear drives the future.
Because were it not for these factors, how can anybody in his right frame of mind in the midst of such abundance which abundance is being appropriated for all the wrong purposes make such a statement, that the proverbial Rome was not built in a day, so Mahama should be spared.
If Rome and it's builders had so consciously and wantonly been so criminally minded, to engage in this scale of such monstrous thievery as is being unleashed and witnessed in this country by this Mahama NDC gov't, we dare say, Rome would never have been built up to this day.
Indeed, Rome would have been in ruins to this day, and the good old Rome would have been the backwater of primitiveness and an eyesore to all that is right and proper to the existence of mankind.
However, let it be known to John Dumelo that Ghana chooses to stand on the side of the brave, Ghana chooses to confront our fears and overcome our fears, Ghana and Ghanaians choose to build Ghana's Rome, and Ghana and Ghanaians would not spare anybody who would consciously, and with impunity, loot this country called Ghana into such earth shattering and dizzying depths of the doldrums.
The recklessness of such a venture is too costly for Ghana, and Ghanaians would not broker any such builders in the enterprise called Ghana, who would engage in such destructiveness. Ghana and Ghanaians would not broker any such builders in our body politic. Ghana and Ghanaians would not broker any such builders in our socio-economic development and growth paradigm. In short, there's no space for such builders in this country called Ghana.
