If u invest in a ghanaian musician, u only make profit in Ghana. And if u invest in a Nigerian musician, u profit or adverts goes up cus he's music and shows will go to most countries in Africa, like Ghana, Togo, Kenya, south Africa, cameroon etc. It's very simple to analyse.

I expect Gyedu Blay Ambolley at his age to have been more intelligent and to rationalise the dynamics in the Nigerian telecom market as compared to the Ghanaian markets. GLO has about 40million subsribers in Nigeria alone as compared to less than 2million subscribers in Ghana and as the ardage goes "To whom much is given, much is expected" GLO will not repatriate resouces from Nigerian sweat to pay Ghanaian artists so therefore Ghanaian artists get paid according to the size of GLO share of Ghanaian telecom market. Ghanaians seem to have carried their rivalry with Nigerians beyond common sense not, even when there's logically no reasons for comparism. Ghanaians choose to patronise products and services tagged or labelled Nigerian only if it gives them direct financial benefits as, in the case of Nigerian Banks that offer jobs to thousands of Ghanaians and attractive business loan facilities to millions of Ghanaian businesses. Gyedu Blay Ambulley could choose to opt out without neccessarily creating a fuse about GLO's compliance or not afterall, others are comfortable with their contracts.

On a more serious note, Ghanaians have so many issues. How many artists have Ghanaian-owned companies signed? Oh sorry, Ghanaians don't own companies. Let me finish exams then come and disturb Ghanaweb or even come to my beloved hometown Accra. Vanderpuije please prepare for me.

The reason why Nigerian artists are getting better deals is because they are better organized. They have competent management who can negotiate effectively on their behalf. Don't forget all Nigerians are natural born businessmen. Nigerias were into artist management as far back as the early 90s. HOW MANY ARTIST MANAGERS IN GHANA HAVE MBA DEGREES IN MANAGEMENT?? aLL THEY WERE TRAINED IN IS MEDIA STUDIES.Some of them are not even familiar with negotiations.
Save you breath Ambulley, and do your own thing.
