  Ghanaians would recall the case of Nii Adjei Okai, the 'controversial' CEPS boss. All of the Controversy was manufactured against him because he refused to pay $45,000 being demanded by a well respected journaiist. Nii Adjei was castigated and vilified by the Chronicle every day for 6 weeks.
  
  Nii Adjei Okai refused to pay and the attacks continued.
