Fante is not twi. just like Ada or Krobo is not Ga. All three languages are Ga-dangme but they are not Ga. just like Fante is not Twi.

Now let me school you- under the Akan tribes- Twi is spoken by the asante, kwahu, the akyem. Bono language is not twi but rather Bono because when you listen to the people from that part of regiob- you hear the indigenous dialect of the people. Fante language stands on it own. Fantes has their own version dialect that separates itself from Twi,Bono and Akuapim. But there all Akan people because each of this mentioned tribes can understand their selves without obstacles. So I asked you. Who are the people that speak the twi language? And what is the Twi language. Go back school. You're disgraced to your parents and your school

Ask yourselves why it is easier for the other Akan groups including fantes to speak twi but very difficult for asantes to speak the other Akan dialects?
