OK! Like all other women, we know that the first impulse of these ladies to be with these wealthy footballers is the money. That is alright with me. But what I cant understand is why all the girls/women shown in the photos seem to have class, posture and maturity whilst their footballer husbands themselves look so physically scruffy, untidy with those stupid haircuts that make them look like agbogbloshie market truck-pushers and tro-tro aplankes. Is it now fashionable to look like a ragamuffin when one becomes a successful footballer?

I am now not surprised that their wives frequently cheat on them. How can a woman wake up in the morning and look at her adolescent-minded scruffy husband in the face with affection and respect?

Nature has determined that the male species of all animals be in control - at least emotionally, of any mutual relationship. Simply showing inner traits of maturity is one way of asserting the necessary respect and proper management of a relationship.

Our footballers should stop pretending to be small undisciplined boys and present themselves in a more manly, mature and respectable posture. So a word to the wise is in the 'north'.

Once the likes of clean shaven David Beckham, Messi and co, who should have kept the sacrosanct of decency have now tattoos all over their bodies. Most women today like the ragamuffin you mentioned. They like guys who can hit the news for the wrong reasons and as long as they are loaded with cash is all that good. I won't say all of them are there for the money as some started life with them. Who won't grab this opportunity anyway?
