I hear u are his confident,friend n everything but u don't have an ideal about who may be the killer how come police who don't have any technologically equipment to trace them. Tell as that u told the police that u suspected this n that guy but they are try to cover them. The real police is we so if u, who is his wee smoking partner cant help! how much more the outsider. If we leave friends n think that enemies are the one we can go for we will not make heard way. U should now know the disadvantage n advantage of making friend. If you are engaged in any illegal deals, better stop and pray to your creator and seek his protection, that is where your safety will be guaranteed.
