And by the way did you see on the news last week in the US the girl that was texting in class and was forcibly removed by the SRO (police officer)?, guess what that officer got fired within 48 hours. This is not to condone what the girl did in any way, she was wrong in many ways. Now to Damilola's issue, she has every right to say what she said, I will not want to have a teacher physically abusing my child either. That is not to say I will not want my child to be disciplined. There are numerous ways to discipline a child besides physical abuse. Of course as a parent it is your God-given duty to train your child to know that there are consequences for wrong doing and that should not necessarily be physical abuse. The Bible tells us to "spare the rod and spoil the child", yes there should be some form of minimal corporal punishment but I would rather that be left to the parent than the teacher. Now to your statement about white billionaire kids, why did you have to insert race into this discussion? Trust me there are a lot intelligent white and black folks as well as stupid white and black folks. Thank you and stay Blessed.
