The reason men may prefer village women is because they want subservient women they can control. Why should women stay uneducated and unskilled just to make insecure men feel good about themselves? Women make up half the population and have a huge part to play in helping develop the nation. The wellbeing of families and communities depends on women being educated and exposed. Exposure comes with a mind that questions things - that the way it is. Men get your balls together, stop seeing everything a city woman dies as threatening! Women if you are smart you can still be a city girl and be polite and accommodating! That's putting your knowledge into
practise (wisdom).

Come to Ghana, one of the topmost Drs. in our premier teaching hospital is a woman. When she sneezes, all the male Drs. evapoutate. Yet at home she is a wife a mother and a partner. She lets her husband lead and hers is to do the behind the work. With such womam, men are away that they are just the ceremonial heads but they draw real power else where. It is not necessary for the women to tell the world or portray that she is the one running the show, and your running the show does not call for being sacastic and desrespectable.

Like you rightly said, this is called wisdom. I think the problem is that during the days of old marriage was seen and still is as an economic venture where women went into marriage to have all their needs under the sunday taken care of.

with the advert of equal education and enlighenment which by the way is the best to have happen to mankind, women are now capable of taking care of business. Some wrongly think that because they can provide for themselves then they have every right to not accord the man his respect after all they don't depend on him. This is wrong and thats the genesis of problems. It is misplaced. Go back to your bible quoran or traditional teaching of marriage and apply it. You will realise that your being a career women is a good thing for the family but it does not give you a place in the leadership chair. Else you will be subverting God's plan for the home. City ladies ya all get ya self some dose of wisdom and enjoy your marriage.

The institution of marriage is based on understanding and honesty. There are bad women and men everywhere in the world.
