I believe Ashantis are the most inward-looking people as they think that everyone should learn their language, their culture and adapt to them. How many Ashanti people have bothered to learn any other Ghanaian language? How many Ashanti people, who have in lived in Accra for a long time, know how to speak Ga? Yet members of all of the other ethnic groups in Ghana overwhelmingly know how to speak Twi/ Akan. Shame on you Acasia. Please stop embarrassing other intelligent Akans. I am sure when you scout around and ask some of ur so called Akan business owners the people behind some of the business they will tell u the owners. so do not be deceived my friend!! secondly your so called Akan lingo is not better than anyone else, you are probably lucky ur lingo is spoke across 4 or 5 regions as a result it is fair for people to want to mingle and learn otherwise there is nothing uniq about your lingo!! as I can see the young boy murdered that song in his lingo better than urs. there is however, a takeaway in your ranting which I blame you not for. 1. I find it hard to understand how Ewes with their almost equal numerical strength cannot muster courage to unite and propagate their music with their lingo!! there are loads of them in music scene so why can't they sing in theirs is what I found hard to understand. I need not mention names but I believe u do know them. 2. music knows no boundary by the way I sometime listen to the Sarkodie and Stonebowy not because I understand their lingo but cause of their lyric and beat. 3. they ewes are equally good academically and also beautiful so am not quite sure exactly what will benefit an ewe man or lady to be jealous of an Akan person? is it about beauty or properties? obviously not about beauty!! so then is it about property? if so am not sure which one of them here? maybe one of the biggest mistakes they ewes have done is not to forge certificate and cook stories to get their kids outside of their country to the so called Europe!! where every black is considered a third class citzen including yours... Your country Ghana is even one of the least developed in the world and as far as I can see yoru people do not even know how to cook food. I was once approached a ghanain who claimed he is an akan and for that matter the other ewe guys should not be approached because they dabble in juju and asked what makes you think you do not dabble or ur people do not even do worse!! I have to stopped him from coming around us because I felt you guys should feel as one people every country has their dirty linen.
