If the person is dead go straight ahead with the funeral and burial, stop that 7 days, 2 weeks and 40 days celebration nonsense. We keep the dead in the mortuary for months, sometimes it's even more than a year just to prepare? And we think people have time to honor every celebration that's put on the table? Damn, let's move on and lay aside these old ideologies.

I can also tell you boldly that the fact that the late Eddie Coffie was an actor doesn't mean every actor should show up at his funeral. Cast your mind back, check the people he worked with and you'll realize most of the current actors and actresses only saw him as a senior actor. Contact Grace Omaboe, Grace Nortey, Fred Amugi, George Williams to mention but a few for they probably know him better as a colleague and a friend.
