Now we are never going to hear the end of it.After the trail I just wanted to go home, hug my family, take a long bath, eat something and burn a little grass to celebrate and give thanks but this bleached attention seeking loud mouth want to hold a brief press conference.Parading me around like some cheap trophy.Anyway Why didn't I listen to my family a put on something decent instead of dressing like an illiterate koborlo.I just hope I can catch a taxiwhen I leave here.Damn is he still talking?!? Whether he smoked or just inhaled ganja or not, I'm sure glad he's free. After all, the Surgeon-General of the US declared as far back as 1962 in a report that smoking marijuana in itself is not harmful. Legalise it!

It only dawned on me a few days ago that it is the same Ekow I knew, growing up in the same area in Accra. Last time we met was in 2003 and I sent him the special pair of shoes he wanted.

I salute you, Ekow! You've come a long way!

Kudos to the lawyer that fought relentlessly to see ekow through justice. I have never doubted the justice system in Ghana. Finally we are seeing some transparency in our judicial system. People all over the world are being granted liberties to do what they previously couldn't do for example the gradual legitimisation of gay and lesbianism on the global population yet for basic liberties like Marijuana smoking Ghanaians get scalded. The triumph of ekow Micah in Ghana today should be the beginning of the push of Marijuana decriminalization and legalization in Ghana and the rest of Africa. Imagine the benefits. ..a lot of people have been jailed for a good chunk of their life just for the possession of a joint...how ridiculous. So bravo ekow Micah. .bravo kaw Kessel and bravo to the lawyer who saw it all through. I conclude with a quote by David icke "AN INJUSTICE ANYWHERE IS A THREAT TO JUSTICE EVERYWHERE " .God bless our motherland ghana and may he Shower his blessings on the children of Ghana both at home and in the diaspora. i understand ur sentiments, but disagree with u on the comments. firstly, u appear to be shaming dr Ampaw, but almost every lawyer might give him the thumbs up 4 doing his primary job as a defence counsel, barring a bribe. the law does not seek the truth, particularly in criminal cases - where the accused is not guilty until so proven! u see in such cases it is enough if the defence can establish doubt! this takes me to the second point ..."you helped a criminal"! unless ekow has a prior decided criminal case in which he pleaded guilty, he cannot, legally, be called a criminal, and u put urself at risk to so tag him!

Did the police went there to look for weed? did the police went there and open every bag in his room? Do you know how 200 gramms of that subtance look like? Why will the arrest some before saeching his house? Do you know that he was invited to the police station? Do you know that you can also wake up and you will be arested for possesing drug? Because some can throw it to ur house and get you arested for it , do think even if micah smokes and he knows he is going to the police station and there is likelihood the police will search his house he will do such mistake? Think well about this my pals kk and the propaganda kk. If money is at play here then i dont micah can win this case cos gyan is money and micah cannot be compared wyt gyan in wealth so talk about bribe then is the otherside of the coin. The truth always stand tall.
