There is a reason why this man is loved so much by Ghanaians from all corners of the country.What you see is what you get.His sense of humour is only matched by his selflessness.My encounter with him was in Kumasi when we set up the benches and chairs for one of his shows.He insisted we joined him and his band members for their evening meal which was punctuated by jokes and fake arguments about who was eating too fast and might ruin their voice on stage.He has the gift of making you feel instantaneously close to him.Don't worry about his bodyguard,I can bet any amount of money that he is guietly making sure the love is spread around.

For years Abrantie performed at GJA functions,under the able leadership of Kabral.He has been an ally of the Ghana Journalists Association.It is a matter of regret,that Issack Yeboah,Abrantie`s manager and a journalist as well,lost his life in the fatal accident.Speedy recovery to you and your body guard.To Yeboah,may his soul rest in peace.
