By the way, ENGLISH is the number one selling course today. At least 8 major languages are offered. All centered around white, Asian and Latino masses. None are centered around Black folks languages like Kiswahili, Hausa, Ewe, Yoruba or Twi.

So for once in history, do Blacks want to ban together to sue Rosetta Stone for such racism? However there are those that have homes not apartments (though don't get me wrong there are those that do live in apartments) or worse momma or daddies place and they even have them who own these homes and they have businesses and cars and take care of their children with no assistance from a man and are educated and are attractive unmixed so no you won't catch them feeling the need to run around bragging about how much Indian blood Caucasian blood Mexican blood or any other type of blood that their mixed with to be considered attractive and no they're not running around feeling the needs to acquire fake asses hips breast lips or butts so why is it that you don't really hear tell of it because tptb(the powers that be) has invested alot making sure that people of color globally will continue to compete with each other hate on each(but don't get some of these white men twisted they do offer their selves fooled you hugh what do you think has promoted mixed ancestry races) other & refuse to uplift and support each other while running into their countries (European) telling their women how beautiful and successful they are and their country as a whole how blessed they are while wallowing in self pity at how cursed you yourselves and your countrymen are instead of dealing with it. My Boss is Dutch but he is the CEO of a big US multinational company here in NY. He barely speaks English fluently.He loves speaking dutch to the extent his American counterparts are learning phrases from him. He is just himself and that did not prevent him from becoming a CEO in American corporation.

I think what we see everyday about other foreigners like indians, Chinese and Spanish in America should give us a wake up call to respect our language because regardless of how you sound in English, the Americans, the Aussies and the Brits WILL always ask you "where are you from".

Lets respect our Ghanaian languages.

Asking you where you come from, you expect the answer to be Ghana and by extension you should speak Twi. have you noticed how mant times English is spoken at Ghanaian functions in downtown NYC area taking itno account the other tribes from Ghana? many non-Akan Ghanaians in Diaspora become offended when people wonder why they don't speak Twi. They normally ask, are you not Ghanaian? We have heard this from the UK, Germany, Scandinavia, the USA and Canada. Other Ghanaians too should have the right to speak their local languages.
I don't grudge the lady for using the language if that is her job but to portray Twi as a national language and use it at Ghanaian ceremonies shouldbe condemned.

Delay in her capacity as a talk show host of national repute should not downplay the importance of speaking English...it is the premier global language of communication, trade/commerce and diplomacy. Folks, the foreigners you referenced are dying to speak English.

More also,she wants you to answer the question the way she wants and if you don't do it she starts her insults. She has to go to school to study journalism and the act of asking questions and respect of her guests and stop sticking her nose into their personal affairs.
