I mean lightening up a bit because of the excesses of the tropical weather is fine, but I saw a statue of Yaa Asantewaa right here on ghanaweb, and it was bleached. Matter of fact it was so embarrassing to realize how they had EUROPEAN-IZE her image. I saw an actual picture of the woman in a history book depicting her greatness, but boy/man that statue...amazing. Anyway just saying...Kumawood is like a circus where FREAKS make a living joyously.

  It has nothing to do with language it's all about quality. If you are making 4 movies in a month, how much quality can really be involved? I just wish Kumawood would develop more, tell some original stories for once, get some good acting. Every single scene is the same and there isn't anything interesting about these movies. All they do is talk and insult each other. These movies look like home video's, the directors need to really study film making, so our movies can really transcend. What good is the language if only a handful of people can understand, our movies should be able to break the fold and transcend.
