A person born in Ghana may not necessarily be Ghanaian, same as a person with a Ghanaian ancestry. So recheck your unchecked checking.

It is fine to show these people as relatives of Ghanaians who are no more living in Ghana. Fair do, but have you asked them how they feel about being connected to roots in Ghana, Africa. Most people of African parentage born in diaspora would rather feel connected to their country of residence, that means where they were born and bred. For me I do not blame any of these people of Ghanaian ancestry now living abroad under different nation and swearing allegiance to their host nations. After all home is where the heart belongs - and for me current Ghanaian governments do not do enough to welcome such proud individuals to make Ghana their second home country. Do more to attract diasporic citizens living elsewhere to enrich the quality of life for resident Ghanaians.
