  Thank you Goodman, if anybody thinks sucking money from poor Ghanaians will solve this problem, they are joking. Most Ghanaians don't know why we are in this mess. I hate Mahama but I can tell you this problem is not Mahama's fault at all though the NDC made it worse. It all started with the building boom at Kuffuor's time but he was able to solve part of the problem before he left in 2008. In 2009, at first the NDC decided to ignore the problem. Then when they realized the problem was not going away, they got fooled by the IMF and the World Bank to allow private companies onto the grid. Togbe Afede's Asogli is one of these private power companies. Now, these companies provide only 40% of energy but rake in 60% of the revenue from our electricity bills and yet that does not solve our energy problems. Ghana is now stuck with dumsor and we can't get rid of these private suckers. The VRA was the best in Africa and one of the best managed in the world till 2008. The incompetent NDC Power ministers and their bogus managers caused more mess to this situation. Check out how many Energy ministers the NDC has changed since 2008. Kofi Armah Buah was the worst. Even when that ministry was divided into two for 2 ministers to be on the job, that did not help much. Ghanaians are being sucked to death by these electricity companies and the government is under pressure from the foreign governments to pay their private energy companies in Ghana. We are doomed.
