Customized car - when you order/buy a car and add certain specs to it which is only unique to you e.g.you replace the rubber/wood dashboard with a diamond/gold encrusted dashboard.
Personalized plate - when you buy any car and register it with your own specific message - like 'Schwar 1-16' or 'diamond 1-16'.
And then again, why is it that in Ghana registration plates bear the year the car was registered? It should rather bear the year it was manufactured so that this clears up all the craziness.

Customised means if you get the chassis number of the car and you check with the manufacturer, it is the only car of its kind made for you only according to the specifications you requested at the time you placed the order from the manufacturers. This should not be confused with personalised number plates which cost around 1,000GH.
