  kwasi fanti is not twi but almost the same as twi... fantes are bilingual akans... there r many dialects within the fanti language example gomoa agona ekumfi efutu ahanta ext.. while twi is spoken by all the other Alan tribes ...

The migrated from techiman, they were bonos, u have to take time to learn The TWI language and know more about how dialects develops, every language has dialects just like Asante twi, fante twi, Bono twi, and akuapem twi, dialects are the language spoken within a specific location, that's why there are dialects in Asante, fante, Bono and akuapem

  Twi is a language speak by the Akans. Fanti is not a language. Fanti is a name of a tribe. All AKANS speak the same language "TWI". AKANS are, Asanties or Ashanties, Bono, Nfanties, Kwawus, Akims or Akyem, Akuapim , nzema and ...

  Twi is a language speak by the Akans. Fanti is not a language. Fanti is a name of a tribe. All AKANS speak the same language "TWI". AKANS are, Asanties or Ashanties, Bono, Nfanties, Kwawus, Akims or Akyem, Akuapim , nzema and there are some Akans also in cote d'ivoire or Ivory Coast. I just learnt that even Jamaican's still have Twi language mixed with English and that's what they called patois. Have you heard Jamaican's saying "me se, dem. etc" before? Twi word "Me se" means, "I say" in English. Nfanties twi word "dem" means "this" in English.
