A plus well done,you have jit the nail right at the top. most of these radio and tv personalities feel that they are better than any ohter Ghanaian just because they speak good english.the change their accent to one that is neither english or american accent. may be a newly created Ghanaian accent.Even this boy is not a grown up and is still in the process of learning so why would one mock him on his english. how many of these people mocking him can stand infront of thousand of people in the calibre of those who were at the award ceremony not even talking of addressing them. how many of them at that age in their time could even speak the level of english Abraham speaks. they pretend to have been aducated at Oxford and the Havards. Antime i'm in Ghana for holiday, i watch TV and lough at the arrogance of some of these radio and tv presenters. even msot of them gets some words pronounced wrong in the american or english(England) standard but because they twist their tongue they think they are better than anyone.

Well, even though I think Jay Folley and those others messed up big time, I also don't agree with A Plus blaming Nigerian for making Ghana music and films not popular. On the contrary, I think the Ghana Nigeria thing is really benefitting Ghana even more than Nigeria. Ghanaian musicians and actors are also very popular in Nigeria which has a market that six times bigger than the Ghanaian market. Almost all the popular Ghanaian songs are also popular in Nigeria. If you watch Nigerian local TV, they like Ofori Amponsah, VIP, Tinny, Shatta Wale, Sarkodie and co. A-Plus did not think deep. It is up to us to foster closer relationship with our African neighbours and enjoy the many benefits instead of making irresponsible and silly comments as A-Plus did. Ghana music is everywhere in Togo, Gabon, Benin, Equatorial Guinea and even Liberia and Sierra Leone. Don't they also have local artists? Should they stop playing our songs??
