Leila, I love u. You have a right to name it the way you see so does Nollywood have a right to protect its brand. Just apologize for ruffling feathers that were not meant to be ruffled. I completely agree you did not mean to cause hard, but your explanation has not helped either. In the meantime, I commend Nollywood for the hard work. You come into our homes and you entertain. I once used your movies for hard core therapy when I was in a bad place and the doctor commended finding something of interest to do in my spare time.

The Nigerian ladies made their point well, but their foolish arrogance was overwhelming. They have to know that Nollywood is is not beyond criticism. Stop taking yourselves too seriously.

Well, the truth should be told and the truth is that Nollywood is the best and most lucrative movie industry in Africa and it has challenged other African countries to start doing their movies because of their success.
I like the fact that Stella came up to defend the industry and put the critics where they belong. Nollywood has made name worldwide and they are still thriving and we are proud of them.
No matter how you try to hate, they are way ahead and in their acne. With that Nollywood has achieved in 20-25 years, Hollywood or Bollywood did not achieve it when they were 30.
So the Industry is still growing positively and do not be envious, because envy will only haunt you!
