  I don't know about Kofi Ansa, I have no idea who he was. However, Komla Dumolo should not have been given a state burial. Bob Okala is no near state burial.

  This man contributed to the growth of an industry that still has a long way to go. He even died doing what he loved best!! He deserves it more all these stupid politicians Ghanaians worship.

  If the criteria for state burial is when citizens contributed to the industry they worked in to earn a living and eventual passed on while on duty, then our market women, farmers, porters and artisans deserve state burial.

  He deserves a good burial and this should be taken care by the Ghana comedians association, not the state of Ghana.

  What kind of jokes are we been entertained with these days at all. Whiles we are struggling as a nation to solve the problem of basic needs such as water and electricity, the taxpayer's money is to be spent on funeral. Whiles hospitals have no constant power and water supply to undertake their emregency services such as surgery among others, leading to untimely death of our mothers, sisters and wives, some individuals are not ashamed of themselves but requesting for state burial for a comedian in this 21st century. It is very unfortunate. This is why we can't grow economically and we are proud to be called third world country. Those resources for the burial is enough to construct boreholes for some communities who need it as a matter of emergency. I would be surprised to heard that this request has been granted. Those making this request on behalf of the are worst enemies of Ghana for that matter the living citizens "point finale."

  Any family who want to honour their family member with state burial should take note of this free consultancy. Whiles the the person is alive, advice him or her to take undertake as many insurance policies as possible as prior arrangement for their befitting state burial in their honour. Then after the demise of your hero, the service of the state could be solicited at a fee for burial. This plan will help end the embarrassment and disappointment you will face if your request to the state is not granted just it's going to happen to the family of Okala and their sympathisers.

  Burial is begged or requested by family,then,I am short of words.Is it not prescribed in the Constitution and a Reserve for Statemen!.Does Comedy /Concertmen or Medical Drs fall into that category of people! Whoever, recommended or approved a State Burial for Komla Dumolo,lacks a Sense of direction,in my personal opinion.A 4th World Country, indeed!.
