  No it is not true,we have dismissal and termination,termination can come about from low business performance where they have to cut down on staff,(downsizing),termination can be due to mutual agreement between worker and employer,it can also come from a re organisation of the business where certain roles have to be collapsed or merged into other roles and even death of the employee or inability to continue working due to ill health or incapacitation.Dismissal is where you breach the rules off engagement which can include non performance.So in terminations reasons are not assigned.
