Compare the stance of the US Embassy to that of the Ghana Ministry of Interior that allowed a British drug fugitive to not only settle in Ghana but also make it possible for him to obtain a Ghana passport. One would think since the Ghana government is not looking into that matter, the Opposition NPP would loudly demand an investigation into the matter. Instead, all one was hearing was an outcry from the Opposition for the fugitive's father-in-law, Wampah, to resign as Chairman of the Bank of Ghana. Before handing this fugitive over to Briton, should there not have been an investigation as to how he managed to enter Ghana, obtain residency papers without any investigation into his background, and charge him with fraud and make him spend time in a Ghana prison before being handed over to the Brits?
