  i dont understand why they keep criticising kumawwood movies. i see them as even the way of life of most areas in Ghana especially the rural areas.it portrays our lifestyle. most of the Ghallywood movies are fake and how many people in Ghana live that kind of life style. One thing i have seen with some so called celebrities in Accra is they want every good thing that happen in Ghana to be for them forgetting the fact that God is for us all. It is the masses that decide and they have decided that they want kumawood movies. infact I enjoyed it more than most of the Ghallywood movies. those in accra always look down on people from other region.

  Because some of the actors especially Lewin and Kwaku Manu even though very talented like using profane language a lot and I feel uncomfortable watching their movies when my kids are around. Criticize them so that they can be better and that is what all of us want them to be. They are very good no doubt about that. I also don't believe all Kumawood movies are horrible.

  It is total madness to reject kumawood movies just because they are made in twi but that is the exact reason people criticise them for. Those who talk abt quality, plot and story should remove the beam in their eyes first. Ghallywood movies are always around the same love story or copied from Hollywood and we should term this quality? Kumawood is the only line of movies with true ghanaian identity. No foreigner will watch Ghallywood movie when there is Hollywood movie because it will be like rejecting original for photocopy. But what is kumawood copying? When it comes to the need for improvement, everything needs improvement, even Hollywood movies. Until Chinese and Indian movies are classified as bad bcos they are not made in english, kumawood movies are not horrible.
