  Most Ghanaian ladies of today are no marriage material. Too much influenced by bad western cultural practices. Maybe the only decent ones can be found outside the urban areas.

  marriages are failng because young people of today are decieve by what they see in the many telenovelas to be real and that their marrital life must take the same pattern the see in the movies

  This explains the indecent haste with which couples make a 'commitment' to join together.
  Again, the 'fun-scene' environments - be it the club, party or even the church- in which these life-changing decisions are taken, totally oblivious of the age-old maxim("woko aware a bisa"),that is, the due diligence part that is imperative in any transaction, are all contributing factors.
  Marriage today, best be described as 'my way or the highway', devoid of any compromises, necessary for any relationship to trive and last.
