So the writer should know that, at this age of technology, we have so many ways to communicate other than using beads.

Now even in hot weather we put on three-piece suit because it is the whiteman's clothing. Today, even Oye Lithur wilk tell anal sex is ok and a human right because the whites are doing it. Men are marrying their daughters and mothers their sons in the so called developed countries. I know that before long it will be practiced in Ghana and the black world because the whites are doing it. Some of us think that anything traditional is retrogression. Sorry the white people who are leading in technology are equally preserving the very old things that their ancestors left for them. In the UK antiques are highly valued. There is no technology behind their value . They cherish what their great grandparents left for them. If we can brand the beads for the world to believe in it our local women would get jobs and Ghana will be better. We demonise almost everything that has African origin in the name of modernisation. These are some of the things we can sell to the world. If the beads were to be originated from UK ,US or Japan we would have been rushing like mad to get them with the last money in our pockets. Believe in yourselves.
