The bride tells her husband, "Honey, you know I'm a virgin and I don't know
anything about sex. Can you explain it to me first?"

"OK, Sweetheart. Putting it simply, we will call your private place 'the
prison' and call my private thing 'the prisoner'. So what we do is: put the
prisoner in the prison.

And then they made love for the first time.

Afterwards, the guy is lying face up on the bed, smiling with satisfaction.

Nudging him, his bride giggles, "Honey the prisoner seems to have escaped."

Turning on his side, he smiles. "Then we will have to re-imprison him."

After the second time they spent, the guy reaches for his cigarettes but
the girl, thoroughly enjoying the new experience of making love, gives him
a suggestive smile, "Honey, the prisoner is out again!"

The man rises to the occasion, but with the unsteady legs of a recently
born foal.

Afterwards, he lays back on the bed, totally exhausted.

She nudges him and says, "Honey, the prisoner escaped again."

Limply turning his head, He YELLS at her, "Hey, its not a life sentence,
OKAY!

God has been misrepresented in Religious settings. He created sex for the context of marriage, because it is the only institution strong enough to handle the things that marriage comes with. Until you have sex with someone, you are not really married. This is because sex makes you one! The man shall leave his parents and cleave to his wife. And the two shall become one flesh. Do not despise your virginity or God. Those aren't the problems. The problem is that you were not properly informed. There are many people who have sex all the time with anyone, and are dying on the inside. Thank God you are alive! You could have gotten pregnant and done more than 10 abortions, which could come with their own complications. All things work together for the good of those that love the Lord and are called according to his purpose. Look beyond the pain. Look to Jesus for healing. And look to the heavens for Glory!

I got married in August of 2015, ever had sex before then.... my husband too same. I was of the view that our counsellor would even take us through sex in marriage but nothing much was discussed about it.

It is because we do not educate our kids about what sex is and what needs to be done to prepare.

The church is doing the right thing and we thank God there are churches that still stay true to the word of God, Amen. How about you reading some educative books to enlighten your selves as a wife and husband? I bet u never thought of that at all? Your syntax is apt and your delivery is sound and therefore, I wonder why you didn't find it necessary to research a little wee bit?
The church, yes has the right to honour the Bible and so should it stay. Whatever agenda u have has failed, because the church wouldn't capitulate ever. Now, I pray you teach your husband not to rush into you always but rather play with until such time that u are well oiled enough to want to have him inside u, I pray u research and explore slowly. That disease u mentioned is a condition of the mind and nothing more. Play a lot with your bodies before sex and you will realise that condition is a figment of your hard wired imagination. I pray Jehovah will enlighten you more as you begin this journey together and may enjoy sex as never before, amen.

What is the point of scaring kids for ? It all can be done without making them feel like it is a bad thing and possibly impact their minds in the future. Our culture doesn't talk about intimacy. Things are supposed to be learned at a younger age to be able to apply when older. No one is telling kids to have sex before marriage, but simply telling them they will end up in hell is not helping either. Why cant we teach them the consequences and the importance rather than scaring them. this is what the author is implying. The teaching method needs to be changed
