I just don't like how the whole issue played but what Captain Smart was saying about the problems facing female gospel singers and their pastor husbands are true.

To start with, some of these pastors approach the women deceiving them to believe it's the best way to marry them so they "the ladies" can improve in their ministry. Now when they get married and the women are out there performing while they the pastors are back home, they feel threatened that possibly some other guys might whisk their women away. Mistrust then sets in so the pastor husbands tries to manage their wives and things starts falling apart. We need to be certain about this, it's one thing pastoring and it's another thing managing in the music industry. You need thorough understanding to do both. Unfortunately, most of these pastors don't have it.

I can remember every single details about Mary Ghansah & Nii Odoi, Dianah Hopeson & Pastor Akiwumi, Stellar & Rev. Osei Dughan, Naana Boateng of Naana & Dan fame to mention but a few. Names of these ladies at one time or the other in their lives became a reproach in the ears of many a believers but I'm so glad they stood firm inspite of all the insults they received.When the trouble starts, Christians turn to believe the pastors more but the truth is all the men I mentioned up there failed. I didn't mention Past Love's because I have no idea what happened. But for those up there, I dealt with each one of them.
Folks, it is not true that every serious female musician has to marry a pastor. It's like mixing apples with oranges. It's never a healthy relationship, "unless you know more than you know, that you know that, that's truly your better half". Leave the female singers to marry the men they genuinely believe in and all these craps will stop.

In as much as I believe there is some truth in what Captain Smart is saying, he is the wrong messenger. This Captain Smart is the same fraudster who have been using his show to deceive women living in abroad for sex and financial gains by promising them of marriage.

Captain Smart would have lost his PRESENTER position at Adom FM if he was hosting that program in Europe or North America.

He used that radio position to befriend these women and ended up deceiving them.

Pastor got served 'right' for not keeping his cool upon hearing claim; shouldn't have made a studio appearance, not even via phone. Let me tell you if Christiana Love goes down, it is through her own deeds. From the only time engaging her group I realize that the lady was not correct and not credible. The woman collected a huge amount of money and personally gave me his word that she would join her group to perform at my father's funeral.The last respect that I decided to give my father who is a good Christian. Christiana Love and her group were choosing among the many gospel singles by some young people from the city, which according to them had witnessed some of her tasks. I personally went to his office in Accra to engage the group, luckily enough Christiana Love was in the office to promise that she would be present. She made us paid all the money involved that day with even extra, because she was going to travel a day after the engagement. The place was Akim Takyimang about 100 km from Accra, so the extra money was meant for her return transport to Accra when she could not wait for her group. To my horror, the woman did not show up and send the third or fourth of the groups to the city and not even one word from her until now, after collecting such a large sum of money from me. I was lucky to have carried Addofo (city boys) and other groups also. Mr. Addofo even engaged the platform from Thursday until Sunday, even through a heavy rain poured. So this is how Christiana Love treats her customers, and that's why I think she is not correct.
